Sarah Reedy - Founder & Executive Director

Mrs. Sarah grew up tumbling, cheering, and dancing. She has experience dancing many styles including ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, cheer/dance and acro-jazz. She was part of a competition dance group in high school which instilled both a love for dance and a good work ethic. During college, she completed her Dance minor, accompanying a Business Administration major, from Radford University. Some highlights of her dance career include dancing at Disney World, participating in college-level dance showcases, and learning from NYC-based dance professors. Mrs. Sarah has choreographed pieces for dance competitions, beauty pageants, and numerous shows. She has past teaching experience at Xtreme Dance Company and Radford Dance Center. ​ When she isn't teaching dance, she is a fulltime Mom to two beautiful daughters and an awesome bonus son.

The mission of Mrs. Sarah’s Ballet is to provide the community with quality, convenient, and affordable ballet & dance classes for ages one and up. Students learn age-appropriate dance skills, French terminology, and performance choreography. The classes include an emphasis on self-expression and confidence building.

Christine Taylor-Hall - Ballet III & Adult Ballet

Here is Christine Taylor-Hall many years ago, securing her ribbons on her pointe shoes before performing Swan Lake. She trained with the Lynchburg Fine Arts Center and Virginia School of the Arts with instructors who danced in company with Mikhail Baryshnikov and Martha Graham. She's performed The Nutcracker multiple times, as well as Swan Lake, Cinderella, and seasonal shows. Her general teaching experience includes being a middle school teacher in Peace Corps, and she currently holds a teaching position in medicine. So while she's not been in the studio for a little while, she is so happy to get back to it. You might have seen her in the Magenta class or teaching this summer's Adult Ballet course!
Corinne DeVane-Shelor- Ballet I & Jazz

Corinne DeVane-Shelor has been teaching for over 30 years to children and adults. She is a graduate of William Penn Performing Arts Institute in York, PA; Essex Community College in Essex Maryland with an Associate of Art degree in Dance Education, and Radford University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Modern Dance Performance. Mrs. Shelor is the former owner of Radford Dance Center which she owned for 12 years. She loves to teach students of all ages. She currently works full time with seniors who live with Dementia, enriching their lives and giving them the life they earn and deserve. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and her two boys who also love to dance.
Alishia Fuller -POM Cheer/Dance

Alishia is a dedicated middle school teacher and cheer coach with a passion for empowering students both in the classroom and on the sidelines. As a former cheerleader, she understands the discipline, teamwork, and commitment required to succeed. She is excited to bring her skills and talents to the POM Cheer/Dance program!
Carmen McCarty - Mommy & Me Dance Party; PreK Tap & Ballet

Carmen is a stay-at-home Mom who grew up dancing for 13 years. She has experience dancing ballet, lyrical, pointe, tap, and jazz. Carmen has performed at Disney World and on cruise ships. She had the awesome opportunity to take classes in New York City with The Radio City Rockettes and Broadway dancers. Carmen says "I am super excited to teach littles to have a love for dance like I do!"
Hayley Combs - K-1 Ballet

Hayley is a mom of two that grew up dancing ballet, tap and jazz starting at a young age. After completing her time in dance she spent five years in choir which exposed her to a vast variety of different music genres. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development in 2024. Hayley hopes to bring her dance experience, love of music and developmental background together to help your kids learn new skills, find their confidence as well as a love for the arts!
